Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are used on ytlooper.com, what data they collect, and how you can control them.
Effective date: January 1, 2025
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operators. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by ytlooper.com) or "third-party" (set by other domains whose content appears on our pages, such as Google AdSense or YouTube).
In addition to cookies, we reference other browser storage mechanisms below, such as localStorage, which stores data locally on your device but is not transmitted with every HTTP request the way cookies are.

3. Your Consent and the Legal Basis for Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies and storage (ytlooper-theme) do not require consent because they are essential to the operation of the Service as requested by you.
Analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics) are cookieless and privacy-preserving. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how users interact with the Service to operate this without consent in most jurisdictions.
Advertising and YouTube embed cookies are non-essential third-party cookies. Where required by law (e.g., ePrivacy Directive, GDPR in EEA, PECR in the UK), we obtain your consent before these cookies are set via our cookie consent notice. The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. How to Control Cookies
You have several options to control or limit how cookies are used on your device:
Browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified before a cookie is set. Refer to your browser's help documentation:
Opt out of Google personalized ads. Visit adssettings.google.com to manage Google's ad personalization settings.
Industry opt-out tools. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of the Service or other websites you visit.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, YTLooper does not currently alter its behavior in response to a DNT signal. We will re-evaluate this position as standards evolve.
6. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
California residents may use the Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We honor GPC signals where technically feasible. When detected, we disable personalized advertising cookies for your session.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically.
